Hotel setting

Our hotel is set in the beautiful village of Chenies, in the Chilterns Hills on the Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire borders. We can’t blame you if all you want to do is relax admire the views, but if you do want a more active stay then there are plenty of things to do in the area:

Walking

Many of customers use us a base for some of the most scenic walking in the South of England. The Chiltern hills are very popular with walkers and there are many routes of different lengths that can be accessed easily from the hotel.

Cycling

The Chilterns cycleway is a 170 mile circular route through our magnificent local countryside.

Chenies village

The village of Chenies is a traditional English village with several pubs, shops and a beautiful 15th Century Norman style church.

Chenies Manor House

This beautiful Tudor house (once occupied by the Cheyne family who give the village it’s name) with stunning gardens is well worth a visit.

London

Chorleywood underground and mainline station is a short distance from the hotel and many of our guests use us a convenient base for some shopping or sight-seeing in West London.

Harry Potter Studio tour

The guided tour is just a 15 minute drive from the hotel. After a long day entertaining the kids come for a much needed rest.
