We are pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded an AA rosette for our fine food.
Our Oak panelled restaurant, overlooking our gardens, serves a traditional menu and a large wine list. Our Head Chef will be happy to accommodate any special requests that you may have.
We can also offer you the opportunity of holding a small private party. This can be arranged in our Chess Room or for parties up to 55 people in our main restaurant

Head Chef Christopher Cloonan Profile
Head Chef Christopher Cloonan gained his catering qualifications at
West Herts College and began his career at Restaurant 101, Sheraton
Park Tower, Knightsbridge under the guidance of Chef Pascal
Proyart. He then moved to The Hemple Hotel Bayswater followed by
Daphne’s Restaurant, South Kensington. The opportunity arose to
continue his professional development in Bermuda where he achieved
the position of Executive Head Chef at Newstead Boutique Hotel.
He was also given the opportunity of working at the Ville Auberge
Restaurant, Aix en Provence noted for its fine cuisine.
Having returned to Bermuda he continued his career at the Elbow
Beach Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Whilst under his management,
their flagship Restaurant The Seahorse Grill was awarded the
‘Restaurant of the Year’ by the Bermuda Culinary Arts Festival. He
had the opportunity to work with a number of Celebrity Chefs from
the United States and Europe and most recently Michelin starred
Chef David Zuddas from Dijon, France. Having now taken the
position of head Chef at the Bedford Arms Hotel, Christopher has
produced an exciting and innovative menu which uses the best local
produce and reflects his knowledge and skills of International
Cuisine.
