Book Direct: Best Rates + Benefits

Our Bedrooms

All 15 of our bedrooms have their own individual design and are quirky in their own right, home to Hypnos beds, Bramley toiletries and Nespresso coffee machines. Everyone’s welcome. Some rooms have space for cots for little ones and fold-out beds for bigger little ones, and space for a doggy bed (or two), too.

There’s plenty to do in the area, from nearby Chenies Manor, to Harry Potter World (just down the road), and with Amersham and Rickmansworth just a 10-minute drive away, and with us being just 5-minutes from the M25, we’re an ideal base whether you’re here for a weekend break or mid-week escape.

Then, after a hard day at work or play, you can be absolutely sure that your room will be an oasis of calm to help you enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Frequently Asked Questions

Staying Over?

How long should you stay in Chenies?

e have no doubt that one visit to Chenies will have you just as charmed with our village as we are. We think a two-night stay is the sweet spot but if your stay is a little shorter, you’ll still have a fab time we promise. There’s oodles of things to explore around us, so you might just find yourself wishing for an extra night. And if you’re planning to stay with us a little longer? Brilliant plan – fill your boots with all the country walks and sight-seeing you could hope f

What are the best things to do in Chenies?

Our doorstep is basically a bucket-load of stunning, stop-and-snap-a-pic level walks; not to mention the very famous Chenies Manor and gardens just a stone’s throw away. If you’re happy to pop in the car, the Harry Potter Studio tour is just a 12-minute zip down the motorway.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3pm. If you arrive early and your room isn’t quite ready, there’s plenty of space in our cosy pub (or even the garden if that lovely sun is shining) to relax, have a bite to eat or a little tipple.

Arriving early and want to head out? No problem, we’ll hold on to your bags until you’re back.

Check-out is by 11am.

What time is breakfast?

Brekkie is served from 8am – 11am every day. If your room rate doesn’t include breakfast but you can’t quite resist, fear not, walk-ins are very welcome.

Do you have any family-friendly bedrooms?

We’ve got lots of family-friendly bedrooms. Our Boutique and Bigger Boutique rooms can fit cots for the littlest of guests and many have space for fold-out beds for the bigger little ones. We’ve also got a selection of connecting rooms that can adjoin to make super-spacious family rooms (give us a call or pop a note in your booking if you’re after these).

Kids under 2 stay for free. 2-16 are £15 per night.

Can I bring my dog to stay?

Four legged friends are some of our favourite guests so naturally, lots of our rooms are dog-friendly.

Just add your dog to your booking (up to two pups can stay with you for £20 per night), and we’ll make sure they get a VIP welcome with a doggy hamper full of tasty tail-wagging treats, a doggy bed or blanket and bowl.

Getting Here

Do you have any parking?

We’re super lucky to have a whole bunch of parking available on-site, just out the back. And, for you electric car drivers, we have three EV charging points as well (we know, fancy right?).

How do I get to you via public transport?

Whilst we love our out-of-the-way location for so many reasons, it does mean we’re not right next door to a train station. Our closest train station is Chorleywood, which will bring you within a couple of miles from us. We recommend jumping in a taxi from there (unless you fancy some fresh air and don’t mind the walk – but be warned, it’s a good 30 minutes).

The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-refundable and non-amendable.

Can I make changes to my booking?

You can make changes to your booking up to 12pm the day before your arrival. This includes changes to your package, room and extras (as long as it’s available). The only rate that’s not flexible is the Early Bird, this one’s non-amendable.

Can I get a copy of my invoice?

Of course. When booking online, you have the option to send an invoice in step 2. Missed this step? Not to worry, just ask at Reception and the team will email you a copy. Checked out already? Pop us an email and we’ll send one right over.
